In April, we planted the seeds in pots. By the beginning of May, they were ready to be planted in the garden.

The Lower Falls.
In summer and autumn, the Falls can run completely dry. In winter, they may start to flow again, but at the base of the Upper, a cone of ice and snow can build up. A small cone is building up in this picture.

Half way up some 700 VERY WET steps, you catch this view of Vernal Fall. Sorry for these photos, but it was very wet, windy, and a bit difficult to shoot there. At least there is a rainbow at the bottom.
Was able to get this picture of the bottom of the Fall, again with another rainbow. The lens quickly got wet again.
At the very top of the Fall, you can see this view of the precipice of the Fall, as it goes 317 feet to the boulder-strewn bottom. We didn't even have to cross the barrier to get this picture, as it is spectacular enough as it is. You can feel the force of the water as it plunges over. 
We saw the Kramer Bus recently at Hetch Hetchy in Yosemite. We figure it was them as a whole bunch of people got out of the van, from adults to small kids. It had California plates, although it seems to have been painted a silver color. The windows are tinted as well.
Belivability Rating: 99%. Pretty close here! This Red Toyota Tacoma is parked in front of Palma High School, where Byzantine Divine Liturgy takes place once a month. However, during the Liturgy, Ulysses was nowhere to be seen.
The truck pictured above appears to be a slightly darker shade of red than what Ulysses had.

Someone built this Star Ship Enterprise that was flying around. Apparently it has lights as well, and flew last night. Wonder how many reported a UFO last night?
An American Corsair.
A hand-built B-17 with four engines. This plane was large!

It was so graceful in the air.
Some really neat helicopter stunts and flying maneuvers. This helicopter could fly upside down, and the pilot even made it rotate along the X< Y, and Z axis', or in other words, every which way he could.
A model Eagle.
The highlight for us was an actual Jet Model Airplane, this one of an USAF F-16. They are fueling the jet right here. It takes about a gallon of kerosene, and it burns it up in eight minutes.
The F-16 taxis to the runway. There is a Model Helicopter hovering that takes video in the air.
Here it is making a pass at around 160 MPH.
Coming in for a landing.
The pilots kept talking about taking off, but not of landing. At this point they spoke more of recovery. Some landings were very smooth, like the B-17, and some crashed.
Still better than every Northwest flight I have ever had.
Our beloved Guinea Pig, Henry Ulysses Kramer de Mendoza died recently. He was given to us by dear friends who had allergies to him.
